QSMP

Overview
QSMP is a multilingual Minecraft community platform. It connects creators and fans across languages with native Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose) and iOS (Swift, SwiftUI) apps, a Node.js / TypeScript / MongoDB / Redis backend on Kubernetes, and a self-hosted real-time translation pipeline (faster-whisper → NLLB-200 → FastAPI). Core product surfaces include real-time chat, Communities, notifications, and authentication — scaled for ~100K monthly active users.
Key Achievements
- 170K registered users and ~100K MAU on the QSMP platform.
- Shipped native Android, iOS, and Kubernetes-backed systems for chat, Communities, notifications, and auth.
- Designed a 250K-concurrent-user load-testing suite; cut API traffic ~80% via Redis-cached WebSocket deltas.
- Built a self-hosted translation pipeline (faster-whisper → NLLB-200 → FastAPI), removing paid per-call APIs.
